We are currently seek a junior level UNIX systems administrator with 1-3 years of solid corporate UNIX administration experience running machines which have very large (100-300) user communities.
Internet web server and SQL server experience is a must! Our company is primarily a managed wide area network service provider, delivering a broad array of totally managed private virtual network and Internet services to Fortune 500 corporate clients.
Experience with Irix 6.5, BSD 4.2 or Solaris 8 is a definite pre-requisite. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate their abilities to set up and administer domain name servers, write basic shell scripts, program routers, diagnosis and de-bug wide area network problem, independently set up domains and virtual servers with all the attending NIC requirements.
Windows NT/2000 Server experience is desirable as well as knowledge of Ascend and Cisco routers and firewalls. A strong background in TCP/IP networking is required.
